Revolt Against the Ordinary: Transforming AF Outcomes Through Durable Lesions and Controlled Energy Delivery
Overview
This one-hour educational webinar will explore the evolving landscape of atrial fibrillation (AF) ablation, from simplified pulmonary vein isolation and posterior wall ablation workflows to advanced dual-energy lesion strategies for complex arrhythmias.
Led by Serge Boveda (Toulouse, FR) and John Silberbauer (Brighton, UK) with faculty insights from Melanie Gunawardene (Frankfurt, DE), Daniel Rodriguez (Madrid, ES) and Ivo Roca-Luque (Barcelona, ES), this webinar will examine how new technologies are shaping procedural precision, workflow flexibility and lesion durability in modern electrophysiology practice.
The programme will highlight latest innovations in pulsed field ablation (PFA), including balloon-in-basket design concepts, controlled lesion stacking and approaches to achieving more durable and irreversible outcomes. Attendees will also gain insight into how dual-energy systems may support more tailored and titratable AF therapy across different procedural settings.
Key Learning Objectives
- Describe the clinical rationale behind evolving PFA technologies and dual-energy approaches
- Explain how balloon-in-basket PFA system may support workflow efficiency during AF procedures
- Discuss the relationship between catheter and workflow design, durability and irreversible tissue outcomes in PFA
- Evaluate the role of controlled lesion stacking in supporting precision-based AF ablation strategies
- Identify practical considerations for integrating emerging AF ablation technologies into clinical practice
Target Audience
- Electrophysiologists
- Cardiologists
- Fellows and advanced trainees
- EP lab technicians and nurses
- Other HCPs with an interest in PFA
