Overview

Subcutaneous ICD implantation (S-ICD) continues to evolve, bringing renewed focus to patient selection, implant best practices and the role of defibrillation threshold (DFT) testing in contemporary practice.

Join an international faculty for a practical discussion exploring how emerging evidence and procedural innovations are shaping smarter DFT decision-making in S-ICD implantation. Through expert presentations and case-based discussion, this webinar will examine the role of impedance assessment, contemporary risk stratification tools and implant best practices, designed to optimise outcomes and simplifying implant workflow without compromising safety.

The programme will feature insights into the clinical relevance of impedance measurements, implementation of the PRAETORIAN-DFT score within implant workflows and the growing role of ultrasound-guided implantation for improved by implant best practices. Faculty will also discuss how these approaches may support more individualised and evidence-based strategies for DFT testing in daily practice.

Designed for electrophysiologists, implanting cardiologists and healthcare professionals involved in cardiac rhythm management, this webinar will provide practical perspectives on integrating contemporary evidence into real-world S-ICD workflows.
