Overview

The #VoltPFA Webinar Series explores the Volt™ Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) system, offering insights into its clinical data, workflow innovations, and procedural advantages. Expert faculty discuss the system’s safety, efficacy, and low haemolysis rates, as well as the benefits of single-catheter workflows for real-time mapping and ablation. The series also covers the Volt system’s versatility in ablation across various anatomical targets, focusing on its role in simplifying atrial fibrillation (AF) ablation and procedural optimisation.

This webinar is supported by an independent educational grant from Abbott

Frédéric Sacher

Professor

Frédéric Sacher was trained in electrophysiology in Bordeaux. During his fellowship in Boston at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (Harvard Medical School) with W.G. Stevenson, he was trained to ventricular tachycardia ablation. In 2007, he came back to Bordeaux with a praticien hospitalier position in Michel Haissaguerre’s department. Since 2017, he has a professor position.

Dr Sacher routinely performs all type of catheter ablation including epicardial VT, VF and Brugada syndrome ablation. Dr Sacher is in charge of the inherited arrhythmic disease center of reference and specialized in ventricular tachycardia ablation with patients referred from all over France. Dr Sacher contributions to the scientific literature as first author or co-author include over 250 original papers, and book chapters and over 500 abstracts.

Dr Sacher is a member of the Arrhythmia & Electrophysiology Review editorial board.
