Brad Wilson (Radcliffe Cardiology) is joined by Dr Devi Nair, Course Director of Rhythm Interventions Online (RIO), for a conversation charting the evolution of one of the arrhythmia community's most distinctive global education platforms.
Since its launch as a virtual meeting, RIO has grown into a major international forum for electrophysiology — bringing together thousands of physicians, diverse technologies, and global perspectives across interventional EP. In this discussion, Dr Nair reflects on why she joined the programme in its early stages, how the topics and clinical discussions have evolved alongside the field over the past five to six years, and what makes RIO's format — spanning multiple therapies and approaches — uniquely positioned within the modern EP landscape.
The conversation also looks ahead to a significant development for 2026: the expansion of RIO into two dedicated events — a US-focused meeting and a Global/EMEA-focused experience — designed to deliver greater regional relevance and more targeted, practice-oriented content for attending physicians.
Dr Nair shares faculty and community feedback on the programme's direction, makes the case for why clinicians who haven't yet attended should consider joining, and offers her perspective on where RIO goes from here.
Recorded on-site at EHRA Congress 2026.
