HRS 25 - 12 month outcomes of the Globe Pulsed Field Ablation System in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (PAF) suggest the device is safe and effective.
We are joined by Dr Vivek Reddy (Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, US) to discuss the findings from the PULSAR IDE trial, a global, prospective, multicenter, single-arm study designed to asses the safety and long-term efficacy of the GLOBE PF System. 183 patients with PAF were included across 12 sites in the United States, Europe and Canada.
Results showed no device-related safety events, and a 78% 12-month primary effectiveness.
Interview Questions:
1. What was the reasoning behind this study?
2. Would you tell us about the Globe System?
3. What was the study design and patient population?
4. What were your key findings?
5. What are the next steps?
Recorded remotely from New York, 2025.
